As Corruption takes root amidst the darkest recesses in the hearts of Faunids across Atalav, Fenris has been hard at work with creations of his own.

He calls them his Children. The Lifesource is not the only well of magic in our world. There exists the magic of borrowed remains, of tragic stories come to life, of the wicked and terrible scars that gouge the soil below our hooves.

The two Fenris Children he shares with us today are entities any Faunid would shudder at the thought of crossing paths with. Encounters may be fatal. Heed the risks, and you may live to see another day. Be too brazen, too unafraid to be caught alone in the woods, and you may become the next faceless soul to be consumed.

The Overseer

Fenris shares:
"Ah, my delightful Overseer. Crafted from the bones of two bonded shriekers I plucked from a decaying predator's ribcage. Their commitment transcended even death, to grant my Overseer two halves of the same vision. The Overseer needs not speak, for there are no questions when all is witnessed and whispered by its intertwined companions."

The Overseer has eyes across the Wildwood, and can communicate with them across the hostile depths of the forest. These eyes have seen beyond our world, past the comprehensible ground we stand on. A glimpse of the Overseer's watchful eyes can blind and distort a Faunid's perception of our world, driving them to madness through insatiable curiosity to see the other side. Once seen, this cannot be undone. And what is seen most certainly spells out their own demise.
