Corruption Guide

This event allows you to order semi-MYO customs and age-ups through the Corruption process. 

During the weeks of Corruption, you’ll tap into nature’s magic by gathering potent tokens, warping life itself– this might mean mending a fractured soul, or warping it beyond recognition.

1. Claim your bag of Hopes and Nightmares at Monja’s Menageries. This will grant you six items from the Corruption item pool for free. You may trade/gift/toss any that you receive. 

  2. (Optional) Purchase any additional tokens through the Corruption Item Purchase Form 2026 .You will be sent an invoice from the Faunids Paypal account. All tokens are $5 unless marked as Premium, which cost $10. View All Token Options HERE.

Second Step: 

With the desired tokens you have now gathered, you can make a corrupt faunid by submitting a Corruption Creation Form! Your form will be approved by an admin and then a staff member will DM you for payment confirmation.

All Faunids from this event will be created on the Corrupted Faunid bases, with edits.

In past years, Corrupted Faunids were relatively de-saturated with only one or two brighter/saturated colors. This year, the level of saturation and brightness depends on the inspiration, themes, and overall direction of the design. 

Starting 2026, you may order a maximum of three forms total, using any combination of these options:

Decorruption of an existing Faunid
Decorruption of a Semi-MYO Corrupt
Corruption of an existing Faunid
Semi-MYO Corrupt Faunid

With the limitation of:

You cannot use the same Faunid for multiple forms (i.e., creating a Semi-MYO and decorrupting them in the same year). 
You cannot recorrupt a Faunid twice in the same year. 

Each semi-MYO creation may have a maximum of:
4 non-corrupt traits,
3 corrupt traits (1 minimum),
For a total of 7 traits.

Each corruption of an EXISTING non-corrupt Faunid may have a maximum of 5 additional traits (At least one corrupt trait required).

You are allowed to age a Fawn using corruption.

You may put a Faunid through further corruption and submit an existing Corrupted Faunid.

If corrupting/re-corrupting an EXISTING Faunid or Corrupted, traits from this event will be ADDED to the faun's current traits/edits. Corruption and Decorruption will be on the corrupted base. Re-corruption may occur on the existing design or be redone based on complexity.

You don't have to specifically name traits in the form you want if you don't know them or care! Artists will work off of your used tokens.

Additional Rules: 

Users may request that a Faunid Sigil be made officially to represent their Corrupt as part of their form (which will be its own supplemental art given at the same time as that Corrupt's release). Creation of an official Sigil will include a $5 fee and is purely for fun.

You may corrupt a Merfaun, though additional complexity fees may apply. Minodae are not currently eligible for Corruption.

Users may NOT request religious symbols or runes from existing human cultures (such as Nordic runes, crosses, pentagrams, etc.) on Corrupts, but may include or create new Faunid Runes. Reach out to your artist or staff if you want to try to adapt an existing religious concept into an appropriate creative reconstruction for Atalav. 

Users may include concepts of Faunid Sigils to include on their Corrupts, or request that their Corrupt has sigils/runes in some way on their body. See the Sigil Page to learn more:

You may re-roll a finished Corrupt similarly to how Fawning re-rolls work. Additional payment of base price and a new/updated inspiration form submission are required.

Corruption of existing fauns will be on the below base, edited to fit the faun's species and specifics.

Each Corrupt Faunid may select one of the following antler branch options.

Branches are cosmetic and do not count toward trait limits.

You must hold the corresponding Antler Token to claim that size.
