Chimerism is a unique mutation in Faunids as it is two entirely finished designs that interact with one another visually, meaning that one or the other will influence a Fawn's appearance (if a Faun with Chimerism chooses to participate in Fawning).

In Atalav lore, Fauns with Chimerism are often speculated to have wells of Lifesource within their bodies, as many Fauns believe Chimerism to be an interaction between two souls early in their journey towards life. The owner will receive all three full-sized images, as well as free edits for the names of both the Faun and their companion, pronouns, and some minor body modifications if desired.

The two images of each design separately are visual guides meant to assist the owner, anyone who draws them, and for official artist use during Fawning if applicable.

We have very few Fauns with Chimerism, one of them being quite simple and the other being decided as a Chimera once the full design was finished, meaning that creating the secondary design was a 'backwards' process, so I wanted to make this year's adopt really push what this mutation is capable of from the beginning.

I had a lot of help with this one, especially from Banriion who gave such a striking concept for the black and white side that a large amount of it was translated to the final design.

All the funds gained from this Auction will go towards me getting a PC dedicated for Faunids work instead of my stinky old laptop, and if that goal is met then the rest will go towards the Faunids Fund.
