Species Rules at a glance

This page is a quick-guide to the general rules and conduct of the species.

For all in-depth rules and conduct policies, see the Faunids Handbook [HERE]. This handbook is updated yearly or upon staff consensus and gives an in-depth policy guide and conduct for the species, the site, the discord server, and contact information for the staff members of Faunids.

Species Rules

  1. You cannot make your own Faunid. This is a closed species. Faunids are always deer with feathers created within our species guidelines; but not all deer with feathers are Faunids. When you purchase a Faunid, you have the rights to that character. However, if you are found to be in violation of the species rules and conduct, you may lose access to the game and website of Faunids, and your Faunids marked ineligible for participation. Your Faunid will be a deer with feathers.

  2. You can sell faunids for their purchased price and any additional art cost. Contact a moderator if you need assistance pricing a Faunid.

  3. You cannot freely change the base physical design of your Faunid. However, if a bodypart/body area is not viewable in the original ref, you may decide the design for that area within reason. You can add accessories/clothing. Additionally, certain items exist to help you customize your Faunid within species guidelines.

  4. Auctions end 24 hours after the last bid to avoid sniping. Stay respectful during auctions and during adopt events; our artists work hard on their designs. Please do not bug people who have bought a design for that design, nor the artist who made it. We are not responsible for the turnout of the bidding.

  5. Be respectful to other users in Faunids. Do not guilt anyone into buying you a design, giving you a design, etc.

  6. We must have a way to contact you. The administrator needs to be able to get into contact with you. At least one member of the staff must be able to be in communication with you or you will be ineligible to participate in the species.

  7. You may only own up to THIRTY (30) breedable fauns and TEN (10) non-breedable fauns at any given time.

  8. If a user is breaking rules or conduct, reach out to an administrator or a moderator to address it.

  9. If you own a Faunid and have proof of it, and it isn't attached to your account on Faunids.com, reach out to an administrator or a moderator to get it transferred to you, or submit a claim form through the website with proof of ownership.
