Nature Exploration

Take some time to appreciate the world around you! 

For this prompt, you or your Faunid will study something found in nature. It should be a short study that takes thirty minutes or less to complete! 

You are free to make your drawings in-character with your character's art style. You can do a study on something your Faunid might have seen and thought was interesting. Alternatively, look for something that catches your eye the next time you go outside You may also research native life and work from pictures. You never know what you might notice differently when you're looking for it. 

The requirement for this prompt is to create something as you learn about a piece of nature in a short period of time.
This prompt is as open-ended as you want it to be. When you find something, be curious about it! Why does it look the way it does? What niche does it fit in the environment? What makes it special? What drew your eye?

Option 1 - Visual Art

You may do sketches on any medium of choice, both digital and traditional. Please include the name of what you're focusing on in the image you submit! 

The example for this prompt is something found right in our own backyard: Flowering Tobacco!

It is not a requirement, but if you'd like a paper texture for your canvas, feel free to use this one: 

Option 2 - Writing

For this prompt, the minimum wordcount is 250 words.
You are encouraged to take a picture of what you found and attach that to your submission but it is not required.

You can write in-character as your Faunid with a short narrative. You can also describe what you yourself found and include some interesting details you learned about it that might not have been something you could know just by looking at it!

The gallery is where all of the images are stored. The prompt is where you attach them to receive your prizes. 

Instructions

Click the 'Gallery' tab in the site menu, then the + sign to upload a new image. Make sure you give it a name! 

Now, you're ready to submit the prompt. On the prompt submission page, find your image in the 'Gallery URL' dropdown to attach it. That's it!
